There's my family. My wife and two daughters... The most important people in the world to me.
I grew up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and London, England (Dad's company sent us there when the North Sea was first being developed as a source of Oil). I went to college at Oklahoma State University, where I met my wife. During college, I was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity, and during my senior year I served as OSU's mascot, Pistol Pete (visit this page for more on that). After college we got married and moved to New Mexico where I worked in marketing for a ski area. After a year and a half there, we returned to Oklahoma and OSU. I spent 7 years recruiting students to OSU, then moved to the College of Education, then the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology where I work now. My daughters are the light of my life and I spend most of my time transporting them to their activities or taking photos of them participating in those activities. I've also been involved in the PTA at my girls' schools, and serve on the Board of Trustees of the Stillwater Public Education Foundation. Our family is also active in the First United Methodist Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma. I'm an avid consumer of audiobooks that I borrow through our library's Interlibrary Loan department (I'm too cheap to buy them). I especially like books about the history of England, and have been listening to several books lately on the Wars of the Roses and the Tudors! |
